    Tent Fumigation Instructions

EXCELLENT FUMIGATION MUST HAVE A COMPLETE SET OF KEYS

The law requires that the fumigator has keys to the premises during the course of fumigation. As a safety precaution fumigators must have access to all parts of buildings, including garages, rooms, closets and storerooms that are normally locked. Exterior windows are commonly left open upon completion however all doors will be locked. Safes and all other combination areas must be left open. To avoid possible property losses please remove all valuables such as jewelry, cash and valuable items.

THE ELECTRICITY MUST REMAIN ON. THE GAS MUST BE TURNED OFF

The electricity must remain on to run the fumigation fans. For safety the natural gas and propane must be turned off to the structure being fumigated. Please see important information enclosed in the information package. The Owner is responsible for having the gas and propane service turned off and on.

PLAN TO VACATE FOR TWO NIGHTS

The fumigation may be delayed or cancelled in the event of inclement weather or high winds. The Gas Company may cause delays due to their schedule, and gas emergencies.

An approximate time is given for tent fumigations that are going up, due to structures being fumigated in various locations on the same day. Tents will come down after it is safe to re-enter, signs will be posted
